Parents often ask us what is the best way to use our art kit? Our best answer, especially if your kids are young, is "With you."
For younger ages, the art box we've designed for kids, allows for parents to sit with their child & guide them through the lesson. You don't have to participate, but make sure they are taking full advantage of the lessons & videos. Younger ages, 4 through 6, will need you there. Do not expect them to just sit alone with their art kit and be creative.
As they get older, usually 7 and up, they can be more independent. The instructional videos are important as a guide for the student. Not for them to copy us, but so that they have a basis for their work. Still we always encourage parents to be involved. Read over the instructions together, make sure they are comfortable and understand. Very important: No devices (other than to watch the corresponding video), calm music and away from distractions. This will make the process easier. Encourage questions (use the fun facts & resources) but most of all, et them be to create. And never ever touch their work.
